Founder
EQIO is led by its founder, Maria Vaccaro. Over more than two decades in global industry, Maria has structured and executed the kind of high-stakes cross-border initiatives EQIO now advises on - managing multi-billion-euro investment portfolios, restructuring large-scale industrial ecosystems and negotiating high-impact partnerships across innovation, mobility, technology and infrastructure. Much of this was built at senior and board level within the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance, where she directed strategic B2B partnerships and cross-border industrial investments - and across the wider deals that shape the sector. That trajectory is the reason EQIO takes the form it does. Advisory applies this experience to clients' most structurally complex mandates. The Foundry applies it to ventures Maria builds and explores with EQIO partners - the same discipline, now tested in the market rather than on paper. The conviction behind both is simple: advice untested by building is theory. Maria works at board and executive level, in five languages (French, English, German, Spanish and Russian) and takes few mandates, personally.
